How do I create and track STR affiliate codes?

Unique URLs

The affiliate code is always as follows, using the affiliate's last name at the end of the link:

https://www.boltfarmtreehouse.com/strworkshop?affiliate_code=lastname

Find it at this link. It's saved in the Google Drive under Bolt Coaching --> STR Workshops --> Affiliates. 

Code Use Tracking

Once the affiliate codes are created in the spreadsheet, they can be shared with affiliates. All STR Interest Form submissions that come in from unique links will be populated with the referring affilate's last name on the STR Lead Tracking Report in Hubspot. 

Payouts 

1. Affiliate payouts should occur on a monthly basis.
2. On the first of the month, the internal STR Lead (or STR VA) should filter the Lead Tracking Report by STR Lead Heat Score, pull the converted leads from that month, and pull anyone whose initial form submission came from an affiliate link (affiliate code column will have a value). 
   1. Example - Beth TEST has "mcdonald" as the value in the Affiliate Code column, meaning this submission was referred by MM members Rick & Kristen McDonald:
3. That info (how many converted referrals did each affiliate generate this month?) should be passed along to the VP Finance for a commission payout of $1,000/referral.
